Blip.015: Sometimes, You Just Want To Dance

One does enjoy a little flourish.

We recently watched Glass Onion, the latest installment in the Knives Out series, which was really terrific. I love ensemble movies and this one was just good fun. Janelle Monáe steals every scene she’s in and it was great to see Daniel Craig camping it up again after 15 years of playing the world’s greatest secret agent. And speaking of fun, check out the new ad he’s done for Belvedere Vodka. The spot was directed by Taika Waititi (skip Thor and go directly to Jojo Rabbit, What We Do in the Shadows, or the absolutely brilliant Our Flag Means Death) and features Daniel dancing his way through a swanky hotel.

If you enjoyed Glass Onion and still can’t get enough of the former Mr. Bond, you may like Logan Lucky. It’s got a terrific ensemble cast, and it’s just a fun (and funny) heist movie. There’s also Layer Cake, which many people say is the role that got Daniel 007. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is good too, though I prefer the original Swedish version. That said, it is a Fincher film and Daniel is terrific.
